Hockey Player from Sarawak Training In Ipoh Dies

Bill Wolfson Anak Lianie had been participating in a goalkeeping skills clinic at the Raja Ashman Shah Hockey Academy.

Youth and Sports Minister Ahmad Faizal Azumu has instructed  NSC, Malaysian Hockey Confederation (MHC), and National Hockey Development Program (NHDP) regarding how to handle Bill Wolfson Anak Lianie’s remains.

In a statement released today, he stated that Wolfson “is suspected to have died from a seizure after having his bath in his room in Ipoh.”

On Thursday, he arrived in Ipoh in order to take part in the clinic that was being held in connection with the Sultan Azlan Shah hockey tournament. He had been accompanied by the head coach of the Sarawak Youth team, Wilina Mac Carina Anak Wilson.
