Caregivers and those responsible for individuals with dementia can gain valuable insights and skills at an upcoming workshop. The session will cover how to determine dementia, understanding brain changes, chemical and structural alterations, and an exploration of the various states of dementia (GEMS). Attendees will be introduced to the Positive Physical Approach and Hand-Under-Hand skills for daily care, techniques developed by Teepa Snow.
This workshop aims to provide caregivers with a deeper understanding of effective care for individuals experiencing dementia. With a maximum of 8 participants, personalized attention and interaction are guaranteed. The registration fee is RM70 per person.
