Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rumaizi bin Baharin@Md Daud, the Mayor of Ipoh, was selected as one of the speakers at the National Planning Congress 2023 (NPC 2023) held at the Putrajaya Corporation Conference Complex this morning.
As the second speaker, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rumaizi bin Baharin@Md Daud delivered a lecture titled “Leadership in Climate-Resilient Cities: Ipoh’s Sustainable Path to a Greener Future” following the first speaker from the Melaka Green Technology Corporation, who presented on “Melaka’s State Approach to Climate Change: Pioneering to Sustainable for Future Cities” in the Sixth Congress Session themed “Building Sustainable Cities for Future Generations.”
The event, which commenced on November 8, 2023, began with an opening address by Y.Bhg. Datin TPr. Hajah Noraida Saludin, the President of the Malaysian Institute of Planners, followed by the inauguration speech by Y.Bhg. Tan Sri Dato’ Seri Mohd Zuki bin Ali, the Chief Secretary to the Government.
The National Planning Congress 2023 (NPC2023) is organized by the Malaysian Institute of Planners and the Prime Minister’s Department through the Federal Territories Department and the Putrajaya Corporation.
