Some 1,000 Ipoh residents received bubur lambuk courtesy of the Ipoh City Council. On hand to present the savoury dish was Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin and his team.
Rows of cars and passers-by were seen helping themselves to the giveaway. A motorist expressed his gratitude to the City Council for the thoughtful gesture.
Also present were Council secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak and other heads of departments.
