The “Lucky Draw Assessment Tax” program by the Ipoh City Council, initiated several years ago, has witnessed a steady increase in annual assessment tax payments. This positive trend reflects the community’s favorable response to fulfilling their responsibility of paying annual assessment taxes and participating in the subsequent lucky draw organized by the Ipoh City Council.
To express gratitude, the Council offers substantial prizes in the lucky draw as a token of appreciation to taxpayers who dutifully contribute to the city. In 2024, residents are required to make their annual assessment tax payments without any outstanding dues through various payment channels provided by the Ipoh City Council. Additionally, residents must download the DMBI application and register as users to qualify for the 2024 Lucky Draw, featuring enticing prizes such as a Perodua Axia car, motorcycles, a 65-inch Smart TV, household/digital items, and a total of RM 99,000 in cash prizes.
The DMBI application is available for download on Google Play and the App Store, and payments can be made through multiple channels, including the Council’s payment counter, post office, Perak State Council payment counters, and online platforms such as MBI’s website (D-MBi@iPOH), PBTPay, Jompay, and internet banking.
This initiative encourages residents to make convenient payments without visiting the counter while still being eligible for the Lucky Draw. Early assessment tax payers for 2024 are entitled to a rebate of up to RM 5.00, subject to terms and conditions. Residents are advised to make early payments to participate in the 2024 Lucky Draw, as the deadline is on February 28, 2024.
