The Petronas Malaysia International Challenge 2022 will be held in Ipoh at Arena Badminton Perak from Dec 13 to 18, 2022.
Some of the world’s top badminton players will be coming to the “town that tin built”.
Competition will be held in the Men’s Singles, Ladies Singles, Doubles and mixed doubles event.
The city folks will have a great opportunity to witness these top players close-up.
The competition is a Badminton World Federation (BWF) International
Challenge event with a total purse of US$25,000.
The tournament is organized by the Badminton Association of Malaysia (BAM) with sanctions from Badminton Asia and the BWF.
The event will surely spur sports tourism and bring economic benefit to its stakeholders.
