A total of 328 individuals from MBI (Ipoh City Council), PDRM (Royal Malaysia Police), the military, Kledang Club, and media representatives gathered for the screening of the film Takluk: Lahad Datu. The event was organized by the MBI Small Communications and Multimedia Committee and held at GSC Cinema, Ipoh Parade.
The screening was attended by notable figures including Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rumaizi bin Baharin @ Md Daud, Mayor of Ipoh; YDH CP Dato Pahlawan Haji Azizi Bin Haji Mat Aris, Perak Police Chief; YDH Tuan SAC Hamzah bin Hashim, Commander of the 69 Commando Unit, Hulu Kinta; Clr. Tuan Muhammad Hamzah Bin Dato’ Haji Md Hamdan, MBI Council Member and Chairman of the MBI Communications and Multimedia Committee; Y.Bhg. Clr. Dato’ Ahmad Hariri bin Kamarudin, MBI Council Member and Chairman of the MBI Tourism, Arts, Culture, and Heritage Committee; and Tuan Haji Ahmad Munir bin Ishak, City Secretary.
This film screening was organized to honor the contributions of the nation’s heroes, in conjunction with the 2024 Independence Month and Malaysia Day celebrations. It served as a tribute to the sacrifices made by those who have fought for the country’s peace and sovereignty.
