The “Jelajah Derma Setitik Darah; Hulur Sejuta Harapan” Blood Donation Campaign, organized by Perak Caring Association, has reached its successful conclusion. This noteworthy campaign, spanning across the entire state of Perak, was conducted from August 27th, 2023, to March 30th, 2024, with the commendable goal of securing 1,000 blood donors.
The campaign’s grand opening ceremony was graced by several distinguished guests, including YB Shasha, representing YB Sivanesan A/L Achalingam, Chairman/Exco of the Health, Human Resources, National Integration, and Indian Affairs Committee of Perak, PCA President Mrs. Pathma Devi, Project Coordinator Mrs. Deva, Dr. Safuan from the Blood Transfusion Unit of Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital, Pn Noorshilah, the Manager of AEON Kinta City, and the dedicated Red Drop Crew Members.
This campaign was in complete alignment with the vision of the Perak State Government, which aims to nurture a compassionate and prosperous society as the cornerstone of a distinguished, developed nation. Such initiatives play a pivotal role in fostering a caring and empathetic society.
