Anugerah Guru Inspirasi. McDonald’s 2022 is back for its sixth edition. The annual award is a collaboration between McDonald’s Malaysia and the Education Ministry. Judges sifted through 5,600 public nominations between March 10 and April 2, 2022. Award recipients stood out through their sacrifice and hard work in going above and beyond.
“McDonald’s initiated the yearly award ceremony to demonstrate its commitment to giving back to the communities it serves by recognising that teachers play a vital role in the nation’s sustainable future through education,” said Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer at McDonald’s Malaysia, Hajah Melati Abdul Hai.
They received received approximately 1,200 more nominations this year and most of the stories were heartwarming stories attest to teachers’ unwavering commitment to going above and beyond their call of duty.
