The Ipoh City Council (MBI) has prepared a Bulk Waste Collection Schedule in conjunction with the Hari Raya Puasa festive season across its administrative areas. The collection will take place over eight days, covering residential areas predominantly inhabited by the Malay Muslim community. A total of 19 open lorries will be deployed to collect bulk waste according to the designated schedule.
The collection schedule is as follows:
March 19 – March 21, 2025, and March 24 – March 28, 2025
The council seeks public cooperation in adhering to the schedule provided. Residents requiring bulk waste collection outside of the scheduled dates may contact the council, and collection will be arranged in stages.
For furniture disposal, owners must break large items into smaller pieces, neatly arrange them, and securely tie them together. Tree stumps and construction waste will not be collected. Residents are only allowed to place their bulk waste out one day before the scheduled collection.
