KPKT Allocates RM168.7 Million for Tambun Development

Under the allocation for KPKT development projects for 2024, a total of 107 projects amounting to RM168.7 million have been implemented in the Tambun constituency. Tambun received 55 projects under the Local Government Department worth RM17.02 million.

In the housing sector, KPKT remains committed to providing affordable housing for the people of Tambun, allocating RM149.21 million for the Tambun People’s Residency Program (PRR) and RM567,948.50 for seven (7) Rumah Mesra Rakyat (RMR) projects under Syarikat Perumahan Negara Berhad (SPNB).

For the Tambun constituency, KPKT, through the Community Well-being Division and the New Village Division, has undertaken 34 projects for house repairs and new constructions at a cost of RM734,640.00. Additionally, KPKT has upgraded public infrastructure in the New Village area with an allocation of RM1.71 million, covering 10 projects involving road resurfacing and recreational park upgrades.

According to YB KM, “KPKT focuses on improving the quality of life for the people. Everyone will fully benefit, and no group will be left behind.”

Datuk Saidatu Akhma binti Hassan; Director-General of the Local Government Department, YBhg. Dato Mohd Fádzli bin Mohd Kenali; Mayor of Ipoh City Council, Dato’ Haji Rumaizi bin Baharin @ Md. Daud; State Assembly members of Perak (ADUN); KPKT’s top management team; MBI council members; and heads of federal and state departments.
