Caregivers of individuals living with dementia often face unique challenges, from managing daily care needs to navigating emotional stress. To provide much-needed support and guidance, a Dementia/Alzheimer’s Support Group session will be held on 9 April 2025 (Wednesday) from 10am to 11am at Sunshine Qualicare, located at 43, Jalan Canning Estate, Lorong Canning, 31400 Ipoh.
This engaging session, facilitated by Calvin Chong, a PAC Dementia Care Skills Trainer, invites participants to share their caregiving experiences, learn practical care tips, and build meaningful connections with others walking a similar path. The session is based on the Positive Approach to Care (PAC) framework developed by dementia care specialist Teepa Snow.
For just RM15 per person, attendees will gain valuable insights and emotional support in a safe and welcoming environment. Whether you’re a family member, professional caregiver, or simply someone looking to understand dementia better, this support group offers a chance to grow your knowledge and confidence in caregiving.
