Surya Hariprasad, just 11 years old, shattered the world record for being the “Youngest to Solve Most Varieties of Rubik’s Cube.” On December 20, 2022, he conquered 65 different types of cubes in an astonishing 51 minutes and 42 seconds. Equally impressive is his 14-year-old sister, Heera Hariprasad, who holds the world record for the “Maximum Different Types of Rubik’s Cubes Solved by a Teenager,” with an impressive 61 cubes solved on January 24, 2023.

Both siblings are students at the Imperial International School in Ipoh, Malaysia, where they have been nurturing their talents alongside their academic pursuits. The Hariprasad family’s journey is one of determination and excellence. Relocating from Kerala, India, last year to support Mr. Hariprasad’s pursuit of a PhD at Universiti Teknologi Petronas, they have embraced their new home with passion and talent.
