In celebration of World Children’s Day on November 20, the Family Wellness Club organized a heartwarming community service event for about 30 Orang Asli children in Kg Pawong, a village located 45 minutes from Ipoh.
The children, aged between 5 and 12, enthusiastically participated in a variety of games organized by the club. Their excitement peaked during the prize distribution and lucky draw, where winners received boxes and tins of chocolates. The day concluded with a delightful spread of nasi lemak and orange juice, leaving everyone with full stomachs and happy hearts.
This initiative was made possible through funds raised during the club’s Food Fair Fundraiser held earlier this year. Club members expressed their gratitude to donors whose contributions enabled them to bring joy to these children.
“It was truly touching to see the children’s bright smiles and hear their heartfelt ‘thank yous’,” a representative from the Family Wellness Club shared. “Moments like these remind us of the importance of giving back to the community.”
The event underscored the club’s commitment to supporting underprivileged communities and fostering a sense of joy and inclusion among children in need.
