Ipoh Parade Celebrates Hari Raya with “Riang Ria Aidilfitri”

In celebration of the Hari Raya Aidilfitri, Ipoh Parade will be hosting its festive “Riang Ria Aidilfitri” celebration from 28 to 29 March 2026, featuring cultural performances, creative workshops and family-friendly activities for shoppers and visitors.

Visitors to the mall will be welcomed by a festive kampung-inspired décor designed to reflect the warmth of traditional Hari Raya celebrations. The stage backdrop features vibrant batik motifs that celebrate Malaysia’s rich textile heritage, while banana trees and lush kampung flora surrounding the stage evoke the familiar scenery of a traditional Malay village during the festive season.

Throughout the two-day celebration, visitors can look forward to a series of engaging cultural programmes and interactive activities, including a Raya-Themed Arts & Crafts Workshop and a Batik Painting Workshop, offering shoppers the opportunity to explore traditional art forms in a fun and creative environment.

The festivities will also feature traditional cultural performances, including a Traditional Gamelan
Showcase at 2:00pm and a Traditional Kompang Showcase at 3:00pm, followed by lively Riang Ria Raya Dance Performances at 4:00pm and 4:30pm. Families and children can also enjoy a Balloon Giveaway by a Bicycle Clown at 5:00pm.

The arts and crafts workshops will run from 12:00pm to 8:00pm, inviting shoppers of all ages to participate and experience the festive traditions of Hari Raya.

The “Riang Ria Aidilfitri” celebration aims to bring together the community in a vibrant and festive setting while highlighting elements of Malaysia’s cultural heritage.
