The ceremony was held along Jalan Raja DiHilir Road (SJR) (after the Petronas Station heading towards Ipoh City)
The safety campaign will last for 10 days till May 8, 2022.
Present was ACP Yahaya bin Hassan, Ipoh District Police Chief, Supt. Mohamed Nordin Abdullah, Ipoh District Deputy Chief of Police (Administration), Supt. Lee Swee Sake, Deputy Chief of Ipoh District Police (Operations), DSP Koo Boon Kuat, Head of Ipoh District Traffic Investigation and Enforcement Division and other heads of departments.
The campaign is aimed at ensuring motorists and other road users adhere to road safety rules as the influx of vehicles will be high for the upcoming Hari Raya celebrations.
Motorists are also reminded to obey all road safety rules and regulations for their own safety and well-being.
They are also reminded to plan their outstation trips and observe speed limits at all times.
