The Perak Bar Mediation Centre is organising a Mediation Awareness Day on 10th July 2026 at the Perak Malayalee Association, Ipoh, themed “Resolving Disputes the Smarter Way.” The initiative aims to educate members of the public on mediation as an alternative form of dispute resolution, its process, and its many advantages. Simply put, mediation is a party-driven, cost-effective, and efficient way to resolve disputes out of court on terms acceptable to all parties involved.
The programme includes informative talks on various aspects of mediation, a live mediation demonstration, and a panel discussion titled “Why Choose Mediation over Litigation?” featuring experienced mediators and legal practitioners.
The event will also mark the official launch of the Perak Bar Mediation Centre, which will facilitate mediation services in Perak by connecting individuals and businesses with the Centre’s panel of accredited mediators.
