Ipoh Mayor recognized for this empathy thru MBI Cares initiative

Ipoh Mayor Dato Rumaizi Baharin was recognised for his endless assistance and empathy towards the needy folk in the city especially during the on-going Covid-19 pandemic.

 

The award was presented by the Lions Club Perak.

 

On hand to present the award was none other than the State Exco for Housing, Tourism and Local Government Datuk Nolee Ashilin Mohammed Radzi.

 

The “Meritorious Award” is timely as Rumaizi has been instrumental in embarking on the “MBI Perhatin” or MBI Cares initiative which has benefited the needy community and uplifted their spirits in these dire times.

 

Also present was the chairperson of Lions Club Perak, Dr Richard Ng among others.
