Attention all cyclists! We invite you to join the Ipoh Low Carbon Day cycling event, which is part of the Visit Ipoh Year 2023 celebration. Taking place on 30 July, this event offers a fantastic opportunity to explore the heart of the city while appreciating its beautiful scenery. Formerly known as Ipoh Car Free Day, the event aims to raise awareness about the environmental impact of excessive carbon dioxide emissions from cars.
Cyclists aged 12 and above are welcome to participate in this 10km journey. The registration fee is RM25 per person, which includes a T-shirt (additional charge of RM5 for sizes 3XL and above) and a lucky draw number. You can collect your T-shirt and lucky draw number at the MBI office on the 6th floor starting from 3 pm on 28 July. On the event day, we will depart at 7:45 am from Dataran Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh in Greentown. Remember to wear the provided T-shirt and ensure you have your safety gear for a secure cycling experience.
