In a significant step towards sustainability, Green Energy Asia Biofuel Resources, in collaboration with Majlis Bandaraya Ipoh (MBI), is spearheading an initiative to recycle used cooking oil into biodiesel. This effort aims to reduce environmental pollution while providing a cleaner energy alternative.

Through a structured weekly collection schedule, households and businesses across various areas in Ipoh can conveniently dispose of their used cooking oil. The collection is organized from Monday to Saturday, covering key locations such as Medan Ipoh, Bercham, Taman Canning, Tasek, and Klebang, among others. Additionally, designated collection points at local markets and commercial areas further enhance accessibility for the public.

This initiative not only prevents improper disposal of cooking oil, which can clog drains and harm the environment, but also promotes the circular economy by converting waste into valuable biodiesel.

For more information or to participate in this program, the public can contact Green Energy Asia via their hotline at  012-391 4113  or visit  www.green-energy.asia.

By taking part in this movement, residents of Ipoh can contribute to a cleaner, more sustainable future. Let’s work together towards a greener Malaysia!
