As the festive season approaches, many families will be traveling back to their hometowns to celebrate with loved ones. During this period, it is important to ensure that your home remains safe and secure while you are away.
In support of public safety, Polis Daerah Ipoh (IPD Ipoh) has introduced the Safe Home Campaign 2026 to help monitor residential areas and reduce the risk of crime. Residents are encouraged to take part in this initiative by registering their balik kampung information at the nearest police station, completing and submitting the home monitoring form, or registering online through the Volunteer Smartphone Patrol (VSP) application.
Users can easily download the VSP app by scanning the QR code provided. Through this initiative, the police will conduct regular patrols to help ensure that registered homes remain safe throughout the festive period.
