This Deepavali, Ipoh Parade radiates warmth and festive cheer with a breathtaking showcase of harmonious and vibrant colours that illuminate the mall in celebration of the Festival of Lights. Shoppers are invited to experience the joy of the season during the mall’s Deepavali Celebration, happening on 18 and 19 October 2025, from 12.00pm to 8.00pm.
The mall’s main court has been transformed into a colourful festive centrepiece, adorned with peacock-inspired motifs, glowing diyas, silk drapes, and multicoloured lanterns suspended amidst cascading lights. At its heart lies a magnificent kolam crafted from flower petals and sand art, symbolising unity, beauty, and good fortune — a perfect spot for families and friends to capture the spirit of Deepavali.
Adding to the lively atmosphere are interactive workshops and activities such as the Deepavali Wishing Corner, Mini Sand Art Kolam Workshop, Deepavali Origami Workshop, and Games Corner, open from 12:00pm to 8:00pm. Visitors can also enjoy a free murukku giveaway from 12:00pm to 4:00pm (subject to terms and conditions, while stocks last) and catch cultural dance performances at 5:00pm.
“With its vibrant decorations and engaging activities, Ipoh Parade seeks to bring the community together to share in the warmth, joy, and light of Deepavali,” said Lim Huey Tyng, Ipoh Parade’s Advertising and Promotions Department manager.
The event is free and open to the public.
