Y.Bhg. Lam Yew Tact, a Member of the Ipoh City Council, attended the certificate presentation program for the Recycling of Used Cooking Oil at the MBI level at three MBI locations on behalf of the MBI’s strategic partner, Biovisma Sdn Bhd.
The event was also attended by MBI Environmental Health Director Mr. M. Raman a/l Maran. Traders and the public are advised not to dispose of used cooking oil directly into public bins or drains, but to collect and sell it to licensed or MBI-recognized used oil collection companies.

With participation in this program, it is hoped that awareness and practice of recycling used cooking oil will increase, making the environment more sustainable and of higher quality.
