Addons White Coffee Café regarding its name does share a similar concept to the classic Oldtown White Coffee and this weekend I had the golden opportunity to have a casual farewell high tea with my classmates at this brand-new food and beverage chain located in the heart of Ipoh along Jalan Raja Ekram. When I first got there, I favored the minimalistic style the café had to it and the high tea was held on the 1st floor of the café. It was certainly very convenient as it was spacious enough to accommodate 20 of us and it was comprised with a comprehensive PA system set up along with speakers, a projector, as well as oval conference styled tables and this, was surely suitable for our semi-formal meetup.
This was something we certainly enjoyed as we took this advantage to play our favorite songs and music videos while dining on their variety of scrumptious food.
As for their food, the fusion of Malay and Chinese styled cuisines with a touch of Western delicacy certainly did cater to each every one of our taste buds and all the food served is halal. A few of their dishes resemble our typical Malaysian simple Roti Bakar which can be ordered with various spreads such as Mentega Kacang and Kaya Butter so if you are looking for a simple home-styled breakfast Addons would truly serve to your liking.
I had their crunchy sweet potato fries which I was truly impressed with as it was not your average fun-sized fries instead, they were filling even though it was supposed to just serve as an appetizer the portion was large. I also had their sesame fried chicken which had a glazed honeyed texture to it and to wash it all down I had one of their famous white coffees with pearls, coming from a coffee lover I certainly recommend it to all my fellow coffee drinkers.
Their cuisines also consist of multiple local-styled Lamen noodles and fried rice to American-styled happy meals. Not forgetting their ice cream and waffles desserts for you, fellow sweet tooths out there.
All in all, if you are looking for a low-budget eat-out with your family, friends, or workmates Addons White Coffee Café would not disappoint as they not only provide a variety of delicacies but also their friendly service by the waiters. If you ever decide to give Addons a chance, remember to also get their very own Addons White Coffee 3 in 1 which comes in both classic and durian flavors!
