The Ipoh District Police will be implementing road closures and traffic diversions on 31 August 2021 (Thursday) starting from 06:30am to give way to Perak’s 66th National Day Celebration Parade 2023. Road closures will take place until preparations reach their conclusion at Stadium Perak, Ipoh. Additionally, according to current needs, road closures will also take place during the parade rehearsal sessions that will be taking place on 27 and 29 August 2023.
The roads involved in the temporary closures and diversions are as follows:
1. Jalan Ghazali Jawi
2. Jalan Kamarudin Isa
3. Jalan Ahsman Shah
4. Lebuh Cecil Rae
5. Jalan Stadium Perak
6. Jalan Kompleks Sukan
7. Jalan Dato’ Lau Pak Khuan
8. Jalan Canning Estate
Because of this, the citizens of Ipoh and road users are advised to plan their journey and choose alternative routes to avoid traffic while road closures and diversions are being implemented.
