Polis Daerah Ipoh’s Compassionate Visit to Burglary Victims

YDH ACP Yahaya bin Hassan, the Chief of Ipoh District Police, conducted a compassionate visit to the home of burglary and robbery victims in Bercham, Ipoh, Perak. Also present were ASP Ahmad Auzani bin Mohd Jailani, representative of KBSJD Ipoh; ASP Rhozariah binti Mohd, Chief of Ipoh Women Police; ASP Som Phong a/l Pan, from Bercham Police Station; and Insp. Jayan a/l Suppramaniam, Special Investigation Officer (D9) of IPD Ipoh.

During the incident, a 72-year-old elderly woman was robbed at gunpoint after the criminals forcibly entered her home early in the morning on May 24, 2023. The purpose of the compassionate visit by Ipoh District Police was to reassure the victim of the police’s concern regarding the case, as well as to update her on the latest developments in the investigation.

The police are diligently pursuing the suspects, and it is hoped that they will be apprehended soon and brought to justice.

The victim and her family expressed their utmost gratitude to Ipoh District Police and the team from IPD Ipoh for their concern and genuine initiative.
