YB Tuan Nga Kor Ming, Minister of Housing and Local Government, officiated the inauguration of the elevator and Community Fire Brigade at Kinta Heights Flats this morning.
The event was also attended by YB Jenny Choy Tsi Jen, State Assemblywoman for Canning and Deputy Speaker of the Perak State Assembly, Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rumaizi bin Baharin@Md Daud, Mayor of Ipoh, council members, senior directors, and department heads of the Ipoh City Council (MBI).
Around 300 residents of the flats attended to celebrate the occasion. Additionally, they visited the Jiwa Madani exhibition by the Perak State Information Department and the Fire and Rescue Department exhibition, and witnessed a fire drill demonstration by the Kinta Heights Flats Community Fire Brigade.
It is hoped that this event will help MBI achieve its aspiration of making Ipoh a Smart and Prosperous City.
