MCPF Committee Members Certificate of Appointment Ceremony

Malaysia Crime Prevention Foundation (MCPF) organized a Certificate of Appointment Ceremony for their MCPF Committee Members at Royal Perak Golf Club (RPGC). The event was officiated by the Chief Police of Perak, CP Dato Pahlawan Mior Faridalatrash Bin Wahid, YDH Toh Muda Orang Kaya-Kaya Panglima Kinta Seri Amar Bangsa Diraja Dato Ab Wahab bin Dato Seri Azizul Hassan, Chairman of MCPF and his Deputy, YBHG Dato Sri Ayub bin Yaakob.

YDH Toh Muda Orang Kaya-Kaya Panglima Kinta Seri Amar Bangsa Diraja Dato Ab Wahab bin Dato Seri Azizul Hassan, Chairman of MCPF gave the Certificates of Appointment to every Relations Committee member of MCPF in Perak which was the Relations Committee Member of Teluk Intan, Ipoh, Slim River, Sg Siput, Tapah, Kampar, Manjung and Perak Tengah.

The Chief Police of Perak, CP Dato Pahlawan Mior Faridalatrash Bin Wahid also expressed his gratitude to MCPF for collaborating with Perak’s PDRM in his speech as the PDRM’s growing concerns as of now in Perak are online scams and drug abuse. He believes that MCPF and the PDRM could hand in hand develop a peaceful and safe environment for Perak citizens.

The Chairman of MCPF also suggested and announced his plans on how they would educate fellow citizens on online scamming. One of the few ways was talks on online scamming being organised by the MCPF Relations Committee Members in mosques and temples as it would be easier to gather the local community. According to the Chief Police of Perak PDRM has also started using Tiktok to reach youngsters about cybercrime incidents.

 

YBHG Dato Sri Ayub bin Yaakob also talked about the struggle of carrying out MCPF activities that was initially planned but was differed due to the Covid-19 pandemic. Nevertheless, the Deputy Chairman of MCPF hopes they would be able to carry out events and campaigns as planned.

Dato Pahlawan Mior Faridalatrash Bin Wahid also congratulated all newly MCPF Relations committee members with faith that they would carry out their respective duties in curbing and reducing crime rates.

PDRM and MCPF also exchanged tokens of appreciation to show the mutual trust and cooperation between both parties.
