Y.Bhg. Dato’ Rumaizi bin Baharin@Md Daud officiated the Lucky Draw for the 2024 Assessment Tax for the month of November 2023 earlier today.
The event was also attended by Y.Bhg. Dato’ Mazlan bin Abd. Rahman, Head of WHIP MBI Council Members, Council Members, Senior Directors, and MBI Department Heads.
The Lucky Draw for the 2024 Assessment Tax for November 2023 offers a total cash prize of RM 4,500 to be won by 10 lucky winners, with the main prize valued at RM 1,000.00.
This monthly Lucky Draw program is conducted as an announcement to the city dwellers, considering that starting from the 2/2023 term, no physical bills are sent to property owners. City dwellers can download the DMBI application or visit the MBI portal (d-mbi@ipoh) for checking and making online payments. This initiative aims to encourage city dwellers to make payments without the need to visit counters while still being able to participate in the Lucky Draw.
The program is also organized as a token of appreciation to early payers who have fulfilled their responsibilities to the Ipoh City every year.
As of November 2023, a total of 12,181 bills have made early payments for the 2024 assessment tax, amounting to RM 3.33 million.
The Council opens the opportunity to participate in this Lucky Draw to ALL payment channels making annual Assessment Tax payments without arrears, including the MBI Counter, Post Office Counter, Perak PBT Counter, Kiosk Machines, and online payments through the MBI Portal (d-mbi@ipoh), PBTPay, Jompay, and internet banking.
Today’s program includes the drawing of 10 winners for November 2023, and these winners are still eligible to participate in the Lucky Draw for the 2024 Assessment Tax, which will take place after the payment period ends on February 28, 2024. City dwellers who have not settled their assessment tax payments can make immediate payments and still have the opportunity to win the Lucky Draw prize for December 2023, expected to take place in January 2024.
