The Ipoh City Council (MBI) has taken note of public complaints circulating on social media regarding damaged roads and safety issues on Jalan Ong Chin Seong, Taman Hoover, Ipoh.
In this regard, MBI wishes to inform that, in collaboration with Puncak Emas Infra Sdn. Bhd. (PEISB), the council carried out road repair works using the hot mix patching method on 27 January 2026 to address the damaged road surface at the location.
These repair works aim to enhance road user safety, particularly for local residents and vehicle users, including motorcyclists, while reducing the risk of accidents, especially during rainy weather.
MBI remains committed to ensuring the maintenance of urban infrastructure is carried out progressively and continuously for the welfare and safety of Ipoh residents.
Members of the public are advised to continue submitting any complaints through MBI’s official channels to enable faster and more effective follow-up actions.
