The Ipoh City Council (MBI) welcomed the evaluation panel for the 2025 Integrity, Governance, and Anti-Corruption Award (AIGA) during a field assessment session held at Dewan Azlan Shah, MBI Building.
Ipoh Mayor Zamakhshari bin Hanipah delivered the welcoming speech, thanking the evaluation team led by Mazwane Musa (IIM), alongside Adjunct Prof. Mohamad Faisal Abdul Malik (MIA) and Muhd Amin Alamin Salam (NIOSH). He emphasized that the evaluation is not merely for recognition but also an opportunity to strengthen governance practices.

The Mayor reaffirmed MBI’s commitment to integrity, transparency, and good governance despite challenges in resources, expertise, and public perception.
The event was attended by City Secretary Ahmad Munir Ishak, department heads, and MBI staff. The panel also visited MBI’s Radio and TV Studio, highlighting the council’s efforts to enhance public communication and engagement.
