The Perak Caring Association recently celebrated the successful conclusion of the Intensive Decoration Course for Ceremonies and Various Arts of Chocolate Composition. The event, held on 4 November 2023 at Regency Hotel Ipoh, had 60 participants in attendance.
Notable guests included the Deputy Minister of Entrepreneur Development & Cooperatives, YB Senator Puan Saraswathy Kandasamy, and the Perak State Women’s Development Department Director, Cik Kavaramma Subramaniyam.
This initiative aimed to empower 10 participants over three months, focusing on self-reliance, business opportunity awareness, and basic management skills over a period of three months. During this time, participants also learned about promoting their businesses on social media and business registration.
What made the program special was the fact that the participants ended the course by decorating the entire venue where the ceremony was being held to showcase the skills they had acquired, as well as presented handcrafted bouquets to the Me Step Crew and teaching staff.
During the certification ceremony, participants received certificates, starter kits, and recognition, being honored with awards for their outstanding efforts.
