It is hereby informed that MBI (Ipoh City Council) has not canceled the Malaysia Paintball Super League 1.0 Datuk Bandar Ipoh 2024 Paintball Super League 1.0 Datuk Bandar Ipoh 2024 Championship scheduled to take place from January 19 to 21, 2024, at the Perak Rugby Stadium. Instead, it is the organizers themselves who intend to cancel this championship.

For your information, after research and assessment by MBI regarding the Malaysia Paintball Super League 1.0 Datuk Bandar Ipoh 2024 Championship from January 19 to 21, 2024, at the Perak Rugby Stadium, it was found that the organizers did not comply with the hosting criteria set by the authorities, as follows:

i) Failure to obtain approval from the Perak Contingent Police Headquarters (IPK Perak) regarding the use of “Paintball Marker” on January 19, 2024, for the MBI “Paintball” closed Championship, as offered by the organizers themselves;

ii) Failure of the organizers to submit insurance for this championship;

iii) Failure of the organizers to obtain approval from the Office of the Commissioner of Sports Malaysia (PJS) regarding the organization of this championship.

Therefore, MBI has decided that the Malaysia Paintball Super League 1.0 Championship can proceed under the condition that it has no association with the Ipoh City Council, and the Council withdraws any use of the ‘Ipoh City Council’ logo and the name ‘Datuk Bandar Ipoh’ for this championship. Ipoh City Council only leases the venue to the organizers.

As a result of this decision, the organizers themselves have expressed their intention to cancel this championship.
