The Ipoh Fire and Rescue Station (BBP Ipoh) responded promptly to a special assistance call from Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital (HRPB) involving a patient whose hand was trapped in a meat grinder.
According to the operation commander’s preliminary report, the victim, a 26-year-old male, sustained severe injuries to his right hand after it became stuck inside the machine.
Firefighters swiftly carried out the rescue operation using a special cutting tool to carefully dismantle the meat grinder without causing further harm. The operation was executed with precision and was successfully completed.
Following the rescue, the victim was handed over to the Ministry of Health (KKM) for further medical treatment.
The operation concluded once the victim was safely extricated and attended to by medical personnel.
