On the first day of 2024, a total of 18 newborns were celebrated with the presentation of the Perak Child Education Savings Fund vouchers by the Perak Foundation. The certificates were handed over by the Chief Minister of Perak, YAB Dato’ Seri Saarani Mohamed, who also serves as the Chairman of the Perak Foundation, to all the newborns born on New Year’s Day.
The RM200 vouchers for the SSPN Prime Savings Certificates were specifically gifted to babies born on January 1, 2024, aiming to encourage parents to save for the future education of their children. The event was attended by the Hospital Director, Dato’ Dr. Megat Iskandar Megat Abd Hamid, Head of the O&G Department, Dato’ Dr. Aruku Naidu, Chief Executive Officer of the Perak Foundation, Dr. Nasreen Khanum Nawab Zadah Khan, and a team of Deputy Directors from HRPB.
