Two brothers, both senior citizens, were discovered dead this morning at a residence on Jalan Mohamed Naseh in what the police think was a murder-suicide.
Acting Perak Police Chief Datuk Azizi Mat Aris stated that a team was deployed to the area at 10 a.m. after authorities were notified of the occurrence.
A man was discovered laying in a pool of blood on the kitchen floor with stab wounds, while another man was discovered hanging outside the home.
According to early reporting, both individuals were brothers who had gotten into a fight. The wife of the younger sibling had attempted to stop the fight, but in the process, she sliced her thumb.
He said that the investigating team found a knife at the scene, which they think was the murder weapon, and they still haven’t determined what caused the fight yet. According to him, there were family members present when the murder occurred, and police will record their statements to help with the investigation.
The case is being investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code for murder.
